Did one last month....but, my ex is an attorney.
Went to court date, talked to da/ada and because clean record, reduced to non moving...paid fine and left. Not sure, but change it to inspection sticker....or something equivalent
For reference, I was doing 48 in a 35.

No D.A. in America wants and / or has the time to take most traffic violations to court. My one experience with this was I pled no guilty in court but because I knew , through a source, the citing LEO would not be in court that day, the City's only LEO witness .The Assistant D.A. was looking for any plea .

Yep, got the same thing from the 6th jdc in that shithole Lake Providence. What an absolute cesspool which I will avoid like the hantavirus from now on.
They should make that place a penal colony

For a speeding ticket?
OP, go to court, you'll meet with the DA beforehand. They just want you to plead guilty to anything and pay the court costs. As to downgrade to expired inspection sticker and / or no seat belt and they will agree.
Easy peazy

quote:Mind explaining since the big minds usually hire traffic lawyers for representation that reside in areas like Covington, LA as they are going through small town speed traps?
Does your small mind allow you to grasp the concept of people getting speeding tickets in places other than where they live?
Or is that part a big deal in LA? Please edumacate me hot shot.
