Getting shirts tailored

Does anyone get their shirts tailored. I get my slacks, suits, etc done, but usually never mess with the shirt. I buy "fitted" or "tailored" dress and sport shirts and don't mind the fit on those. But I've got several other shirts that are nice, but I never wear because they are baggy. How much does it cost to get them slimmed up? I'd rather spend $15-$20 to get these shirts done than spend ~$125 a pop to get new shirts. I hear people talk about it all the time here, but don't know many people who actually get this done.

I know a Korean tailor that does them for $45 each.

I buy Peter millar wrinkle free shirts for work and have the sleeves shortened 2" on all of them. Once when I accidentally bought a stack of regular fit brooks brothers shirts instead of slim fit I had them add darts in the back to slim them. Tailors can work miracles. Shirts are easy for them.

Go to Loi's on Perkins. He charges $10 or $15 per shirt. I bring all my shirts there to make them not feel like a tent from the chest down.

Brooks Brothers shirts are outstanding quality but cut like a damn parachute.
I swear they think their average customer is 80 pounds overweight. With the fabric my tailor has to take out of their shirts its almost like a buy one get one free sale...

Brooks Brothers has a slim fit that I find fits me well.
I'm in Houston and just brought some pants to get worked on and made me think about the pile of shirts in my closet that I never wear, but also never feel like throwing away. I'm going to bring them when I pick my pants up, but didn't want to spend $50+ per shirt. It's only like $8 to get my pats hemmed, so I never think twice about that.

Just start eating like Arse and you will fill those shirts right up. Or wait until you age past 40 and your body tries to fill the shirt no matter what you do.
