Name an industry where this doesn't happen, though.
I've been known to throw a favor to another faculty member's kids/family. My cousin got popped for having alcohol in his dorm room when he was a freshman at the university where I teach. I sure enough called up the director of housing and the dean of students office to help him. Family's family.
Plenty of people get hired on at plants because of who their dad/brother/uncle/etc is.
I don't think it's such a big deal with speeding tickets, simple possession, and that kind of shite. Can't imagine that any cop would care who you're related to on a felony charge.

I doubt cards like that exist, but especially in small towns there is no way in hell police are going after their own and/or families of others.

Bunch of cops are regulars at my restaurant. They are a real thing. They’ve never given me one tho..

All of your examples require some effort to get something done. You can't get a job at a plant by flashing your "I'm the BIL of Birdseed" card.

They are rare in the South. The PBA cards are 100% real in the NE.
I always give a donation to my county Sheriff's fund and the State Trooper association and they send me a window sticker. I know I have gotten out of several tickets because the officer would mention them before giving me a warning. It doesn't always work but just once covers a lot of yearly $25 donations.
