The cost for one-eighth of an ounce of the flower product sold by the state's nine, regional monopoly pharmacies ranged from $35 in Lake Charles to $60 in West Monroe to $80 in New Orleans, according to various reports.

Delta MedMar was charging between $440 and $480 an ounce, according to a price sheet provided to USA Today Network by two patients. One ounce is generally enough for 84 pre-rolled cigarettes.

Also looked at some vapes, the one closest to me sells .5g cartridges for $77-$105. Def way more expensive.

I’d do it just for the flower but I’m not paying those prices for weed pens.

The owners of the dispensary in Madisonville are pretty dang connected, from what I hear.

Pretty much- as long as the check clears, your script is guaranteed. I’m not exactly sure what my wife gets when she goes- vape cartridges for sure, maybe some edibles, but it’s $150 every time she goes, every 2-3 weeks. Used to be cash only, now they take debick.

Yup, but we got on her Cadillac insurance plan at her new job, so the savings there more than offsets her weed bill

That’s the site I was looking at. Overpriced for sure, but looks good.

True. Easy to get and an overpriced product, but the card is a "Get out of jail" card.

Our sheriff a few years ago was shacked up with a meth dealer. She would tell him who her competition was and he would arrest them. He spent a while at Angola for that.

Maybe I’m the toxic one.

Maybe the best thing I can do for people is stay away from them.

Maybe people tossing you aside is their survival mechanism

True story, I called them and the lady asked what were my issues. I said I have anxiety and trouble sleeping. Both issues are true and I’m trying to get off Xanax and ambien. But I also said I was just in a wreck with and 18 wheeler and my back is jacked up. She said, oh im not going to put that down because back pain will cause you to have a follow up in a month. I said nevrnind no back pain. And bam the next day I have my doctors note that says I’m allowed to smoke. Louisiana ran out of cards lol

Bet they can afford plenty more with all the $200 ‘consult fees’ they collected. And I’m pretty sure when it was first ‘legalized’, the consult fee was $400.

Oh yeah- I’m pretty sure it’s an annual ‘check up’ and $200 charge for renewal
