What do you want us to do? We have jobs. Families.
Best thing that could happen is this guy gets rounded up and goes away, but someone else will just replace him.
If there’s money to be made gritting using junkies desperate for their next fix, some frickwad is gonna take advantage of it.
You want to make it stop, the legal system won’t support you.
They can be chased off of every corner, but unless people stop giving them ANYTHING, and are openly hostile to them, and you destroy their systems of supply and movement, they are like rats.
Now...and this is all hypothetical...and I’m not suggesting anyone do something like this, but...
If I were writing a story about some anti-junkie vigilante, the course of his action would be to burn out the nests where they sleep, burn their transportation, and disappear their source of smack.
Then round them all up and send them out of town.
That, or pick them all up, detain them somewhere where they have food and shelter and force them to detox and then get them help.
Basically, unless drastic action is taken, they will continue to infest our city. As long as they can get their fix they won’t leave. Present them with a better option or the only alternative is force.
And if people are willing to do the dirty work, then You’ll just have to deal with them

There is a panhandler that hangs out in the Chipotle lot. He’s early 60s and black. I feel bad saying I hope it’s the same guy. He’s aggressive and has been at it for a few years. I don’t like the students having to deal with his bullshite.

It’s a shitty situation that these aggressive beggars are tolerated and when one finally goes too far and gets shot the liberals will be outraged. I get so angry at people who just wont stop giving those bastards money.
