Aside from the two European countries currently at war (Russia/Ukraine) who does Germany need to pass up? And why would it take 13 years?

Same answer it always is: France.

Considering how weak Europe is, I guess this is finally their moment. 4th times a charm I guess

I hope the uniforms are badass as usual

serious question, what country currently has the most powerful European military?

France by a good bit. Strong military culture, very capable operators, wisely (thanks to de Gaulle) has never fully relied on the American umbrella. Only serious shortcoming is that they struggle to service the logistics of a truly modern 21st century force.

Britain is still soldier for soldier, sailor for sailor among the very best in the world, but they’ve been chronically under-resourced for a long time now.

Poland has all the makings of a modern military power but they’ve yet to be truly tested in any real way (outside of some Afghanistan support) since the Cold War ended.

Aren't they already invaded?

Maybe they’re waking up?
