Sorry to clarify. The warning was dropped. A watch still in effect till 5am.

Also, this YouTube on ksla.com is fascinating. It's a live feed from their storm tracker desk so he's taking phone calls and dealing with their chat page. People are asking about tornados on their specific street and using profane language. He's clearly not a fan off the people using the site,

"No James, just because you're hearing thunder doesn't mean there is all kinds of crazy weather going on where you are." KSLA guy is way fed up. This dude just said he's been up since 6am yesterday and he's clearly run out of fricks to give. I think it's safe to go back to sleep but I don't know if I can. Don't want to miss his inevitable breakdown...

Everyone should be ok. No warnings at this time. Just a regular ole severe thunderstorm at this point.

Holy shite, this is great internet TV

Not making light of the situation, I'm under the gun, too, but still

ETA: that camerawoman in the background is kinda cute.

If you're talking about the one in the yellow sweater...I'm 90% sure that's a dude with long hair. I've been keeping an eagle eye on...it...and I just get a dude vibe. But hey. Whatever floats your boat,

Woke up to a tornado warning alert on the weather radio and my phone. Sirens haven't started though.

Never seen one this early before.

Collierville, TN.

The warning is a few miles north of Collierville and Germantown. They may not have activated the sirens. Bartlett, Lakeland, Cordova, and the I-40 corridor around Wolfchase mall is under the gun. If there is a tornado, you might be able to see it on the TDOT traffic cameras east of the 240 interchange.

We are under are t-storm warning though.
