Gender Reveal Using A Paint Ball Gun

I think this gender reveal thing has been out of hand for awhile. And while i don't really care what other people do, I just can't get why this is such a big deal now. Does it really matter what sex the baby is?
If it was a situation were.. Let's say you will either win $1000 or $10M. That would be something to reveal.. Like.. "Let's see if they are about to be a millionaire or just have an extra $1000", that is exciting.. But this is more like seeing what color shoes you will get. You already know you are getting a certain pair of shoes. But you have to do something to see whether or not you are getting a white pair or light gray pair... Why make a big deal out of that part?

Yep. Having a kid invokes the same feelings as getting a new pair of shoes.

I didn't say that, I said revealing the color of a pair of shoes someone won is like a gender reveal.
The exciting part is receiving the news that you are having a child.. Just like if someone won a pair of shoes. Its obviously not the same type of excitement, but the celebration should be after receiving the news...
