I have geico and hit a buck a few months ago. They were very easy to deal with and paid out in a timely manner. No complaints.

Anyone have any problems with GEICO?

I've had them for 15 years and my premium has only gone up 7 dollars during that time......and I have all the bells 'n whistles including uninsured motorist. Seeing as you probably also live in HTown, it's a necessity with the uh..."undocumented" types.

Never had to file a claim with Geico but they are the cheapest around. It’s all on the app which is convenient. State Farm kept bumping up my rates for no reason and was too old school with claims from what I’ve heard.

I love Geico, I switched to them from State Farm. Excellent service with both a flood car and against a person making a left hand turn from the right lane.

Will stay with em.

Our insurance (liberty mutual) went up $100 per month over an $1100 claim.

I asked the guy why the increase and he eluded to the claim. I said so let me understand this. I make a claim, the first one in 3 years, and you hit me for an extra $100 per month? He says yes and that every insurance company does this. I said im paying you more than my claim is worth over the course of the year.

Makes no sense. We are switching to Geico as well because of shite rates. Had geico years ago and had no issues. Like all companies he rates increase just because they can. When we bought a new car liberty mutual gave a better rate so we swapped. Almost as bad as cable/internet providers

I have been with Root insurance for a while now and my rate dropped $100/mo with the same coverage. You have to go through a 4 week driving test but it's worth it. The key is to pay 6 mos up front to get the reduced rate.

Geico has a really good App that you can use with. They keep costs low by investing more in the App for basic stuff.

been on GEICO about 10 years now. No problems.

I will shop them every other year or so and they are still the best price. Had a good price for me on an umbrella too.

I believe they all will eventually raise their rates since people have so much tolerance for the prices before they shop around.

I just got a quote online and it's almost $70 a month less than I'm paying now. I guess I'll switch.

We switched to geico last year, had a big tree limb fall on the wife’s vehicle last month, had a check in hand less than 24 hours after making the claim

their customer service would keep me with them even if they were higher. thankfully that's not the case.

Don’t hold your breath on that one. I’ve been adamant with my bosses that that will never happen.

Oh for sure. Insurance companies (even the good ones) damn near require you to get an attorney in order to do anything worth a damn nowadays.

No they don’t. This thread is 97% the ins co got me a check within a few weeks at worst and 3% I had to go to court.

Plaintiff attorneys aren’t prevalent because of this.

Been have safeco for years with no complaints, but I just ran a quote with progressive and it cut my total in half. I'm switching over as soon as my coverage ends this month
