I never knew he was a hair lip during his posting days.

Comments in this article suggest that it was not his first bribe.

Has a team of forensic accountants been dispatched to see how much money he has, compared to how much he has claimed to earn?

I suggest not commenting further on the subject since there is still an on going court case.

Suffice it to say if your job requires the publics trust and you have sworn to uphold that trust, do not bring privileged information to the board.

Especially if your screen name is "geaux judge"

If you hold a public office, it may be best to not even post on a message board at all.

Do you think he would have been caught if his screen name was something like "Fry Machine Op" or "Hi Skool Drop Pout"?

Hopefully the judge will take as much pleasure in handing down a harsh sentence as geauxjudge did when he was on the bench.
Nice play on the secondary concept here-

1. Judge not that ye be not judged.

2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

(Matthew, Chapter 7 KJV)

Jim, explain the reference in the article to TigerDroppings, please.

He was posting about things that happened in his courtroom that were supposed to be confidential. Somebody tipped off an Arkansas political blogger who started digging deeper and uncovered the bribery scandal.

Probation? What a joke. I hope they put his arse away for a long time. People who abuse authority are some of the very worst offenders in society, and they should suffer the harshest punishments.

Be on the lookout for these alter names coming soon.

His name didn't get him caught. Posting about his court cases did.

I thought he was only posting about cases that had already become public record because no way a judge would be stupid enough to post confidential info but then the Charlize Theron thing happened which proved he was stupid enough to do just that.
