The Cantu-Cox bromance has pending charges after they paid people to kidnap an 18-year-old man who they bonded out of jail....
After the 18-year-old jumped bond, they wanted him incapacitated so they could hand him over to authorities.

True but they should have the ability to charge her with his death (I assume manslaughter here) as an accessory or even principal, although I haven’t dug into the specific charges on this one. Just seems like she’s getting off light
