I don't have anything against gay men. I always thought it bettered my odds with women. 
I do think that when you lie about your orientation on the reg, you become very practiced at deception. This "gift" permeates their life and they begin to think it is OK to lie about everything. In short, they lack integrity to the extreme. The funny part is their orientation is completely obvious to everyone but the most dense.
I base my opinion on business dealings I've had with people like this.

Good for this guy. Seems like the most qualified man for the job.
As we go forward, and as our nation becomes more diverse, i don't think it's asisine to have our positions of leadership take on the look of more than 1 demographic ....

Gays were never the problem in the military. It was the women!! 5000 men and 10 women on an air craft carrier is just asking for trouble!
