Seen thousands of them fishing in the marsh. They always keep their distance. Only one had one come right up to the boat and pretty much stay there swimming all around like it was waiting for something. Had to be one someone was feeding. He was way to friendly. In no way aggressive but also in no way like any others I’ve seen.

I love gators...

Gator tail, gator boots, gator belts. Gator goods last forever. Worth the extra money imo.

Gator is a better leather than croc or caiman in that order.

Look, their arms are too short to dial 911, so lay off and let them handle their business.

This seems like the Florida version of the Circle of Life.

We need common sense gator control laws.

Gators are easy to handle. If they get too close to the boat, you just beat them in the head with the paddle.

They'll leave.

Because we’ve developed areas where they live. I’m not saying we shouldn’t develop land but understand when you do whatever animal that thrives there will be a nuisance.

Not always true. The burbs around nola are starting to have gator issues. Theyve been there a long time without that problem. Now it is. They werent there before. At least for most of the 20th century.

Also coyotes. Many places in the US that now have coyote issues did not have them until recently.

Gators are an issue for sure. Better to properly manage it now than wait until a few kids get attacked. When that happens, states and local governments will begin to takem out until the feds intervene.

Uh uh...Fork that, dude. I don't swim in anything but a pool. Sharks, Alligators...nope. uh uh

I've swam 5ft from gators and tread water in front of them. Nothing happened. How many shark attacks do you hear about world wide? Now think about the odds of getting attacked when at any given time there are millions of people at the beach. You have to hit the unlucky lottery to get bit by a shark. The only thing to fear is fear itself.

You’re upset that a gator was being a gator?

Reminds me of the Chris Rock bit after Sigfried or Roy (I forget which is which) got attacked by their tiger onstage during an act one night.

"The tiger bit the man in the head and everyone's mad at the tiger. Talk about how the tiger went crazy. That tiger didn't go crazy...that tiger went tiger"

gators in FL are a little bolder and less intimidated by humans than LA gators, probably because idiots over there feed them and mess with them and they get used to two legged animals, in LA, gators keep their distance if at all possible because they know we'll eat they asses for dinner and make a pair of boots out of them

There are more alligators in Louisiana than there are in Florida.

But there’s 17 million more people living in Florida so there’s way more human interaction with alligators in Florida.

You are so triggered over this.

Honestly I'm surprised more people don't utilize gators to get rid of bodies. Pigs as well.
