How soon until Disney removes any gator representations in the parks and drains all of their lagoons, lakes, and bayous just to appease the super-paranoid?

Taking down all statues of gators should solve the problem.

This whole thing is Florida mans fault , he started it when he threw that gator through the drive thru window ....
I know that little brat's family, played football with my son, kind of on the affluenza trail

That gator was a lone wolf

Totally thought it was gonna be a troll of some dude dressing up in a gator costume

That looked like a news story from Suttler in V for Vendetta

I grew up in south Louisiana and at least 5 or 6 of us kids were swimming in the bayous every summer. we worried more about water moccassions than gators
I lived on the other side of the bayou from my grandparents, I was about 3 miles from it, but my grandparents and one of my aunts lived right across from the bayou. Every time there was a family event (it was common for people to go over to their house on Sundays to watch football) there were always some people swimming in it.
One time in the winter two of my cousins had to swim across the bayou because they lost a bet. If there was a gator in the area everybody just kept their eye on it and kept doing whatever, but if there was a water moccasin everyone cleared out the bayou in seconds. Our uncle use to tell everyone "just splash some water at it and they go away". While no one ever got bit by a gator or moccasin, one day when the water was low and people could touch the bottom with their feet someone got stung by a catfish.

that sounds like some fun times for kids...reminds me of some of the things that we did when I was a kid.

That little guy was in more danger than the people were; that log would have crushed him.

I have a feeling we are going to have a "gator sighting story" almost every day for the near future.

Same goes for "droughts" and brush fires in southern California. southern California is an arid climate, it doesn't rain a lot, it would be weird if it did rain more, brush fires happen in arid climates.
Southern California is a Mediterranean climate...

The people feeding the gators are the real assholes in this story
But that video was a joke. Look at these people riding splash mountain unaware of the dangers of the gator

Awesome. Since we'll be in Disney tomorrow through Sunday, Im going to wrestle a friggin alligator since they are supposedly so plentiful. I'll be pissed if I dont see any gators bc news reports act like they are everywhere at the parks.
Edit: so now that Ive watches the video, we are staying at the Coranado Springs Resort so I guess we are bound to see them now. I will have a report for the OT when I return.

The real problem are the idiots feeding them.
Exactly. Dumbass tourists who think it's cool to feed them never thinking that by doing so, these wild animals are losing their natural fear of humans which leads to events like the one that occurred.

I keep wanting to see a video of a good ol baw jumping out of a disney boat and annihilating a gator.
If you hit em hard and hold on tight, they won't do shite in under a minute.
That very well may be true but I sure as hell would never do that, no way! Have you? If so congrats on the size of your balls!

Exactly.
After a minute their battery is dead. It takes them a while to recharge.

I did it a dew times when I was young and full of bourbon.
Given my size, the initial impact was usually enough to stun em.
I watched a big ol' 300lb boy hit a 8ft plus gator. There were a few seconds where everybody was panicking and about to jump on. His big arse came up with the gator looking like he was gonna suplex the shite out of him.
Nobody has ever fricked with him since.
