It's the federal gas taxes that is most of that cost. Don't blame the gas companies when the feds are taxing you to death.

18.4 cents per gallon. Diesel is 24.4 cents. Been that way since 1993.

Yeah, that's the problem...

Just go to the poli board where they will explain to you it’s your own fault anyway, and quit being such a baby because orange daddy will fix it soon(er or later).

Don’t take this personally, but everywhere I look I see people cry-cry-crying about gas prices. Many narrow-mindedly let gas prices dictate their entire political opinion.

You know what I don’t see? People slowing down on being constantly up and down the roads. If it is such a burden to you financially,
I live just a few miles off of Interstate 65. It is a nightmare to drive during the Summer due to all the beach traffic. Gas prices are definitely not hampering people from clogging 3 lanes of interstate on the way to spend $350-500/night on a beach condo.

They use "rocket and feather" pricing. It's not right, but that's what they do.

It doesn't help everyone is looking at oil futures in August and wondering why gas prices in June are the way they are.
