Look, they always had the numbers. They always had the methods. We were relying on that classic OT pluck to pull off an upset.
Had it been a short sprint, something might have been done. Had that dinghy not made such a dirty (yet roundly rebuked) comment and given them the motivation, something might have been done.
But now...it's lost. They have the high ground. They will take the meaningless dog contest. The OT is a shell of its former self, and has been bested.
There will be no David. Goliath wins.
Poor Dougie.

None of it mattered in the least. It was a meaningless, pointless, prizeless operation.

As far as the cheating, they admitted to it before TD even knew about the contest, so they can get off their high horse. They don't even need it now because of that moron tJunk.

Yeah, well we normally win the old fashioned way. As soon as the cheating started the contest ceased to exist. We didn't really lose. They just ended it.

I’m sure that if anything important were actually on the line, we have people who could have done what was needed. The fun part was seeing what we could legitimately do, and taking Q from 62 votes (or whatever) to over 25k in a few days is not too shabby. Not to mention the others. (Dougie)
