Garbage Question

I pulled my fully loaded garbage can to the street and realized that the metal bar is gone. This EBR, will they still be able to pick it up?

The trucks don’t use the metal bar. The lifter arm gives the can a big bear hug when grabbing it.

Go to 311 Baton Rouge online & request a new one

EBR runs like a well-oiled machine, I’m sure calling 311 will solve this issue with extreme quickness.

yes they can pick it up...
the arms don't use the bar...they grab the whole container and dump it...
I had to call them to send another due to the arms destroying the original container...virtually ripped it almost in half...
new container is not made as strong as the old and is already damaged...

I looked at the ones around my neighborhood this morning and I’d say about 30% are missing the little metal piece. You’re good baw.
