You’re looking too deeply into that statement. I’ve battled those demons as well. I wasn’t suggesting bourbon as a “solution”. I like to have some on gameday, and I’m hoping a simple pleasure of a drink during the game, while in a good mood, can still be had. Nothing more.

Come on! Whether or not you agree with paying players, there were great games all day yesterday. Much better than Week 3 of 20 years ago. Look at this lineup:

Ga tech Clemson
GA Tenn
LSU UF
A&M Notre Dame

These were great games (well maybe not LSU but I’m biased)

College Football has always been my escape. After Katrina watching a Thursday Night ESPN game brought a little normal back to life

Na. No need losing your shite over what that brainwashed evil kid did. Bottom line it's just politics. I'm in my early 40's and all it's ever done is go back and forth between Republicans and Democrats and nothing has really changed.

Anyone thinking it's gonna go a certain way and stay that way needs to wake up and smell what you're shoveling.

I think there's a leftist sickness and this kid is a symptom.

If I was wrong, everyone would be condemning the assassination.

They're not. They are part of the sickness.

Think of the roadmap how we got here video posted by James Woods. Think of antifa out there radicalizing kids. Think of the media photoshopping a Trump tshirt on the shooter trying to portray him as a supporter. Think of people selling memorablia celebrating Charlie's murder. I could go on and on and on.

This kid did the most horrible thing imagineable, but he's the tip of the spear. There's a lot more crazy out there to deal with. It's not going anywhere.

honestly had no idea how much of an infatuation there was with this dude until the last 24 hours.

It's not just about "Charlie the person"... It's about the fact that someone was politically assassinated on pretty much live tv over debating.. murdered in front of his wife and two small daughters and 6000 other people. The idea of that... that violence and chaos was pushed by their party. The fact they lie about everything to push their dangerous stories.

This was a big freaking deal. I still have it in my head that new Charlie videos will be coming out this week like nothing happened... still doesn't feel real...

Get off of social media. Be with friends and loved ones and enjoy a football game. Honestly, you can go down dark paths if you seek them out on social media. Take a time out imo

You’ve been posting more about this than anyone

And to others regarding school shootings, everyone agrees it’s a tragedy, conservatives aren’t celebrating school shooters like liberals are with CK.

I like how many of the posters who obviously don’t like CK are the ones tellling everyone to “go outside” and “get off social media.” We should just forget about it

Fwiw, nothing wrong with a few days of being pissed off. Our families and being outside are of course more important. Seeing a man being killed because he’s a conservative Christian by a white liberal male dating a transgender is sad. Right on top of a few days a girl being stabbed from behind by a coward. It’s a lot to process. Be mad, but don’t be obsessed about it. You can put the news down and enjoy life also

So in your head if I didn't post about it, that means I was for it and celebrated them getting murdered right?

I think I do remember posting how terrible that was. They were state reps right?

I wasn't around much when this happened. I got off this board and quit watching news for a good while.

Answer me this.. do you see a difference in somebody not posting anything vs someone posting a celebration post of a murder?

Im talking about the people out there actively posting things celebrating and mocking Charlie Kirk's death... and here you are trying to compare that with me??

Are you serious? You see how dumb that is yet? See why we say you people have no normal logical sense in your brains?

no, not at all... it means that all this solemn, downtrodden outlook and attitude rings hollow and seems pretty disingenuous... if you are are against political violence you are against ALL political violence.. period...

cool, then it shouldn't take you long to go back through your post history and find the posts condemning those murders... again, we'll wait patiently for you to do that...

slightly... but again, if you are sincere in your view of ALL political violence being bad, then i don't see how you would choose to only post/speak/comment when on one particular side is the victim of it...

nope, not at all... we are of the same mindset there... what happened to Kirk, a man i disliked very much, should NEVER, EVER happen... it's fricking shameful that's where we are, collectively, as a society... we can all sit here and point the finger, but ALL sides deserve blame for the temperature of the political arena in 2025

Shouldn't you be finding posts on Tigerdroppjngs celebrating the deaths of the two democratic state politicians to prove your point?

Many on your side are celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk, you should go find posts on here celebrating the murder of those two democrats. That's the comparison you're trying to make.

Have you heard anyone here complaining about leftists being silent or not posting about Charlie Kirk? No. We're upset with them being overly outspoken about being happy it happened.

Find the posts on here celebrating the death of the two dems.

You're comparing people not posting about murder vs people posting being happy about murder.

See? Pretty bad argument you're trying to pull out of your arse.
