With women I think it’s extreme emotional immaturity, teachers begin to relate to the child, they begin to think and behave as children, they begin a fantasy life that eventually becomes real. I’m always struck when I hear these women talk that they have the emotional immaturity of children. Intellectually they understand it’s illegal, but emotionally “ it feels right “ because it indulges that very large part of them that feels 13. Anyhow, that’s my theory on the female teachers who do this.
