If this angry “flower” doesn’t feel safe, why is AT school?

Virtual should be her thing

this photo does not show the school in a negative light

it shows the school within their policy

the light, whether positive or negative, is provided by the reader. if the school considers this photo to show the school in a negative light, that would be an admission that they disagree with the school policy

Well the sister of the girl who got suspended has a Twitter bio that reads:

Regardless of what you think of the sister or the girl, the school is in the wrong on this. They made a decision. It's time to own what comes with that. If they misled people into thinking they were going to implement precautions and clearly have not, it's on them. Threatening students for exposing their lack of follow-through is not a good look.

It's Paulding county, home of the teenage grandmothers and meth by eight or it's too late!

I'd wager that if they suspended every kid who shared a photo of their school and/or classmates, there would be no kids left in attendance to teach.

Well that would help with that crowded hallway at least

Doesn't mean she should be suspended for posting a fricking picture

I didn't say she should. I'm just saying I, personally, don't feel bad for her.

Apparently, they had a limited number of virtual "spots". Not sure why, but many kids wanted to do that and didn't get in.

Ya, that argument's already been made and shot down by the courts unfortunately.

maybe it's one of those interactive learning lessons where the school gives her a crash course on authoritarian overreach and censorship
