For every prostitute there is out there there's probably at least one little kid sitting at home hungry wondering where his mother is.
Poor analogy. How is this different for all the single parents out there working multiple jobs and/or graveyard shift?
The major problem with legalizing prostitution is the sex trafficking aspect of the trade. A lot of these girls/women end up being forced into prostitution, and there are no guarantees that legalizing it would make this better. Could actually end up making it more of a problem because now you have a legal avenue to market them once the trafficker has successful turned them.

I just dont understand in this day and age why women do this.
They are so powerful now and have a voice. I dont understand why they choose to go out there and sell their bodies with all the progress and elected officials they have.

I don't even personally have a problem with sex workers or prostitution. I say make it legal and regulate it so soliciting in the streets is illegal. Have certain designated places (brothels) where it's legal and arrest the street walkers so we and our kids don't have to see their nasty asses...

Why does everyone have such an issue with 2 consenting adults having relations?
Most reasonable people at this point don't care, but maybe have it occur in a place that kids aren't near. I'm not a prude by any stretch of the imagination, but damn we have just decided kids are adult enough to handle insane situations lately.

I honestly don't get this. What does this have to do with being transgender or not? I'm assuming most of these prostitutes are actual women and not trans. I'm just not following Newsom's logic here...
He was probably sick of dealing with it and just used the newest buzzwords to get it done. Hell look at all the idiotic laws passed after 9/11 with freedom and stuff in the name, that had borderline zero to do with said freedom.

I concur. Most women these days are sex workers that dont get paid anyways.

I hope you don’t have to pay the one on the left in the first picture by the pound.

If I were made king, this is what I would do. Every city would have what I would call a "Vegas" section. Sex, drugs, prostitution, all available and monitored. Sluts would not be selling themselves in the streets. One block away from Vegas would be rehab centers and police stations. LOL
So you’re a fan of The Wire?

San Diego is a great place for the life. Money. Lax attitude from law enforcement. Plenty of hoes to recruit. Weather is fantastic 300 to 330 days a year. Cost of living is the only real downside to the game there.

It’s a shame, San Diego is a beautiful city try to hang on but will lose out to the California leftist bullshite.

The Wire brutally revealed just how terrible it is:
And that place is Hell.
(For fans of the show, the actor who played the Deacon, Melvin Williams, is the real life inspiration for Avon Barksdale. He ran the heroin market in Baltimore in the late 60s and 70s.)
