funny moment from work today

quick story
had a meeting with a client, my boss, and a distributor partner of ours and his boss.
long story short I haven't shite in a day and we hit up a salad bar for lunch and I stuffed my plate with broccoli, boiled eggs, and spinach to try to blow me out and nothing had happened by the time the meeting started.
I had to let one go in the middle of it or I was going to pass out, when I did it was silent and right then the new guy(distributor partner) got up to take a call and within 10 seconds my fart smelled like the worst thing that's ever come out of my arse.
my boss was in the middle of a sales pitch and swear to god stopped in mid sentence and goes "guys Im sorry, I know we're all adults here but does someone need to go to the bathroom?"
everyone at the table made a huge deal about it and I just sat there and all of a sudden my boss goes " hey the new guy took a call and cropdusted everyone on his way out, whats up with that?"
they spent the next 2-3 minutes until he came back saying how they couldn't believe a new guy would do such a thing and how sorry they were to the account. the new guy came back and we moved on and never knew that he was blamed for the worst smelling fart in history.
I feel kind of guilty but I might have been fired for something like that
