definitely not ripped, but decent definition.

I am 6 feet and 155 pounds and don't feel like I am as shredded or lean as I can be. 5'8 and 160 sounds skinny fat to me.

Lol.

So you stopped training but kept your same eating habits and then managed to gain weight?

You just confirmed everything I said in this thread

Calories in. Calories out. Your engine determines what you look like

More evidence that the OT is full of skinny fats

When I was 185 pounds I was skinny fat as hell and looked completely out of shape. Yet most on the OT would think 6'0 185 is normal and in shape. LOL

The pic on the left is me at 185 and about 24% BF and a 38 inch waist... please continue to tell me how that is skinny.... At 185 I was an out of shape fat arse blob. The pic on the right is me at 155 and a 28 inch waist.

I'd rather be either skinny or plain obese-fat than skinny fat any day of the week. I have far more respect for obese-fats than skinny fats. Obese fats aren't fat asses in denial like skinny fats are. Skinny fats still have all the same health risks as obese-fats. I am still repulsed when I see pics of my former skinny-fat self.

I believe a part of it has to do with whether you were fat as a child or not. When youre a child your body adds fat cells instead of your fat cells expanding or shrinking. As an adult it's just the opposite. So the adults who were fat children have many more fat cells and store fat more easily than people who got fat as adults. They also tend to have a harder time losing weight and keeping it off.

For me it's not even about the overall body frame but facial aesthetics. A man's face is far more attractive at lower body fat percentages as the masculine facial definition(jaw, cheeks, etc.) can actually be defined. With a higher body fat percentage this is not the case as the fat fades out all the definition.

Here is my before & after face shots. Left is 200 pounds, right is 155 pounds. I had a double chin at 200 pounds. So for everyone who thinks 6 feet 200 pounds is a "normal" weight, that's odd.... never knew having a double chin is normal

I am 6 feet tall. The 155 pound pic was taken at the very end of a long 9 month cut back in July. I've been eating at maintenance since then and will start bulking after New Year's.

Yeah I don't know. I've never had any fat people in my family as a child or adult.

Obviously it is not a valid excuse to be be fat. It's still entirely possible for people who were fat as children to be fit, just requires more discipline and effort. YouTubers obesetobeast and fatmeetsfire are great examples of people that were extremely obese that are now buff af

rocket, dude you disappoint me so muc with the bs trolling. You have a lot of knowledge but you never share it and assume everyone is just like you. I used to could what I wanted and train and stay pretty ripped, never more than 15% bf. then I got older and so will you my friend.

You can shite on Keto all you want, guess what, it works really well at curbing appetite. If works too and so does iifym. Lean gains and rapid fat loss handbook work best imo, along with a true fat fast.

And if high protein requirements were a scam, Martin nor Duante trudal would recommend them. You are right that most will not see a difference in 1g/lbs verse .5 or so. But try doing a true double body weight in grams of protein and see the changes yourself when combined with a program like rpt or dc training.
