The southernmost areas of Brazil experiences multiple frosts every year from July to August.
This year the frost lasted longer and was more severe, yes, but to imply that a frost in these regions of Brazil is some rare event is absolutely false.
Nice try. But the overwhelming majority of corn isnt grown where frosts are common

Nice try. But the frost that caused so much damage was in the Parana and Rio Grande du Sul region.

Of course, it has been warming since the last ice age. Then there was a mini ice age and now homesteads of Vikings are just now peeking out of glaciers.
From CO2, not so much. Do you have a poster of Greta next to your bed?

Lulz
Just take the L.
Brazil hasnt seen a frost like this in decades. Yet we are supposedly in a global warming trend that started in 1998. I'm gonna bet that during the little ice age trend that included "the year without summer" of 1816, they werent recording any sustained record-high temps in 1816

Brazil’s 2020-21 (February 2021 to January 2022) corn production forecast was cut to 96.39 million mt from 106.4 million mt projected in May by CONAB. Brazil produced a record 102.586 million mt of corn in the 2019-20 season.

Why? You have not posted anything that refuted anything that I have stated.

What L?
The only L i'm seeing is the constant destruction Salmon is putting you through per reply.

1) Brazil has snapped decades long cold temps that go back prior to global warming
2) The area that you say is subject to frosts, only makes up 17% of the corn production. Yet that same area was part of record production the year prior
3) The OP said production was severely affected by cold temps, during a so-called global warming crisis
4) You said, nuh uh
So unless Krakatoa erupted last year, and no one bothered to tell us, there is no reason for those record cold temps during a manmade warming trend. Its simply cyclical, like its always been.

Ok. So did LA last year BTW.

Ok. And they expect a 10% reduction in the forecasted total. 33% reduction in Parana.

Yes.

I said cold temps are not uncommon in that part of Brazil. That area of Brazil commonly has frosts in July/August, they just don't typically last as long as this one did, which is what caused most of the issue.
That and the 2nd crop was planted late this year due to drought conditions earlier in year. The fear of frost affecting the harvest was there before this event even happened.

No one has ever told you that you can't have regional record cold temps during a period of global warming.

And wildfires happen in brazil too, but that didnt stop yall in 2020 from saying we are all going to die due to global warming.
