What I want to know is if it’s Czechia or Czech Republic. It seems like they wanted a new name then they didn’t, and all of the maps/internet don’t know which it is now.

It’s the Czech Republic. The people there never embraced the Soviets and have a surprising strong modern economy for a country most people have never heard of. Prague is a great city to visit. Tons of history and it’s one of the few major Central European cities that wasn’t destroyed in the war.
