The nights I’ve been there since the ban, it hasn’t been a quarter full and it used to always be packed.
How long has it been in effect? Everyone will be pissed and not go for a while, but then who wants to smoke up their own house and drink alone? Add gambling to that? They’ll come back.

Do you want me to make the argument that no one is making you eat fatty foods? Because that makes about as much sense as what you are saying.
Second hand smoke is inherently dangerous. No amount is ok...zero.
One 2000 calorie meal has no adverse effects. It is a lifestyle of high calorie meals that leads to your situation.

If you don't protect yourself it is.
Kind of holds true for anything.

Okay, so what damage have I suffered from a whiff of secondhand smoke at a concert 10 years ago? I would like you to back up your claim above with actual data.
Smoking a single cigarette is no different than eating a single 2000 calorie meal to use your statement.
My bonus question for you: If this activity is such a menace to society, why doesn’t the government that some here lovingly cite in these studies just ban the prodcut all together?

How does 2nd hand water vapor cause health problems?

If it was just water vapor, no.
Unfortunately, it isn't just water vapor. There is some pretty nasty shite in vaping discharge.

Cigarettes are an interesting product, in that if used correctly, they are supposed to kill you.
Alcohol related deaths aren't exactly insignificant
We're talking about bars here

Same reason they won't legalize pot.
Money from lobbyist.

You still think second hand smoke has no adverse effects. Do you really think any amount of data could change your mind?

And second hand smoke once a month in a bar won't kill you either
If you practically fricking live in a bar the second hand smoke will be a problem but not nearly as big of a problem as your severe alcoholism

For Baton Rouge. How many of you will now stop going to bars and casinos?
I'm looking forward to actually playing a few hands of Pai-Gow at L'Auberge and not having to do it next to old chain-smoking Vietnamese dudes.

This law is brought to you by the kids whose mom made them wear a helmet when riding a bike. There's no use arguing with them.

Someone has to protect children and idiots. Especially when idiots are having the children.

In effect since April of 2015. Friend of mine dealt cards at harrahs before the ban and we were up there the night of the ban. At midnight, security came over the PA system to announce smoking was now banned. I watched a mass exodus out of the doors and they all went to boomtown on the westbank where they can smoke and they never came back. It was weird to watch in person

Funny you should mention lobbyists.
