More government control over our lives is absolutely the direction that we are trending. When is that last time that we've expanded our liberties?
Marijuana legalization is just being used as a new revenue source. We should just legalize it and that's it. No taxes, grower licenses etc. I should be able to grow it in my back yard if I want to.

The only result of cigarettes are negative. They kill you and the people around you. There is no debate.
I am all for individual rights, and small government with minimal regulation, but there are certain things that affect the public at large for which some individuals are too stupid to be left to their own decision making, smoking is one of those. By any measure smoking is a net negative to society, no matter how clear it is that smoking is going to cause bad things in your life people will not quit, so whatever government intervention it takes to make it harder for people to smoke is fine with me.

Simple solution for you and I as non-smokers. Don't go to establishments that allow smoking.
Owners are being bullied by people wanting to kill other patrons.

’d like to see marijuana legalized, not because I smoke it. I literally can’t stand it. It should be legalized because it’s not of my fricking business unless and until it affects someone else other than the person smoking it. Same goes for cigs. I can’t stand the smell of cigarettes, but I’ll be damned if I want to tell private sector what they can and can’t do with smoking policies that affect their patrons and bottom line. I’ll just choose to go elsewhere if it really bothers me, or not at all, as I don’t have an entitlement to go to any business, and they don’t have the right to make me. That’s how it works.
Absolutely no one is making a law that you can't smoke cigarettes.
You just can't force second hand smoke on someone.
You can't serve certain foods.
You can't overserve patrons on alcohol.
You can't serve alcohol at certain times of certain days.
You can't sell alcohol within certain areas near schools/playgrounds.
Why do some people act like this is some unprecedented act being taken against private businesses? Find somewhere else to build your soapbox.

Yep.
Anyone file a lawsuit to stop this? I assume the Casino did.

Why are you intentionally ignoring the non smokers choice not to go into that bar?
The non smoker is the one choosing to be in that establishment. Unless in your scenario the smoker has kidnapped the non smoker and held him against their will to ingest their smoke

Reason 456974773279835 not to visit br.

So it has been reversed to the smokers choice to go to the non-smoking bar now.

You know Louisiana is filled with a bunch of degenerate alcoholics when patronizing a bar seems mandatory

No it hasn’t. It has simply removed the choice. There is no choice now. You’ve eliminated a potentially healthy niche market that allows room for all customers because you think the American people are unable to make choices for themselves.

Nobody is forcing it on anyone. Not one single human being is forced to either work at a smoking bar or go to a smoking bar. Stop acting like you’re subjected to something against your will when you know good and damn well what you’re getting into when you go to a smoking bar or work in it.
The reasoning behind that is childish as frick, and quite honestly extremely dishonest.

I don’t go to casinos very often. But part of the reason I like them are the people lighting up and the smoky smell.
