Yeah, like I said, depends on the specific location. I guess Shreveport is fairly cheap.
I don't think there's a huge difference between cost of living in Houston vs. BR or NOLA.
Rent in BR tends to be outrageous.

For it being a big city, I found Houston to be extremely easy to navigate.
I loved living there, but I also like the college town feel of Baton Rouge.
