THIS is what kills me when the city or a PD makes a settlement. People are applauding it in the streets not realizing that it is THEIR money that is being given out. Taxes people, where do you think the millions come from?

The people you are referring to are the roughly 50% of the people in tis country who pay $0.00 in Federal/State taxes. The settlement was paid with your money, not theirs.
