Sure but the winds were the same and the pressure was lower on Ida.

This is stupid. Those guys are awesome, but there's still a lot on great information that other posters put in these threads as well. Go drink some titty milk and stfu.

I know man, I love all the informative questions like:

Hey rds, you said it would be worse for people on the west side than the east side an hour ago, do you still believe that?

Anybody got the rain totals for this thing?

I have a flight coming back home two days before the storm what should I do?

Y’all think my cousin should evacuate if he lives in this area 250 miles from the storm?

Man, insurance companies are just gonna leave the state and never come back after this, right?

The mesos just hammering Houma was one of those radar loops I'll never forget.

That ignorant fricker is going to call someone “mature” after what he’s posted in this thread. He’s even dumber than I thought

Duke…. Come on bruh.

Both had hurricane hunters in the storms until landfall scoping out winds (looking for Cat 5 winds). We measured the shite out of both of them.

I provided what the data showed.

Not really sure how we got this notion that Laura was stronger than Ida.

To be clear, Laura's pressure was higher bc of the overall background. 150 mph is still 150 mph. They were the same strength.

Is there any realistic intensity forecasts on this thing? I'm trying to get a good idea at what to prepare for. If something like a major is on the cards then I'll have to readjust a bit. Where it hits is probably more important though. Is it projected to be a big storm with wide impacts or will it be more compact?

Wait until the NHC advisory mid morning tomorrow. No one knows much right now except the trend is stronger and more East with the models.

space city weather is basically saying east of texas. it should be a cat 1 to cat 2.
but things are still unknown and for houston to keep an eye on it for at least until tomorrow

I thought Laura scored more points on HSI but I was wrong. Sorry Duke.

Plus the stall. That moron in this thread won’t like that because he wants to be known for having the best (worst?) hurricane
