Well shite. Had power through the storm but Entergy just showed up, killed our entire neighborhood.. and left. They say a contractor will be back at another time to work on it.

I realize they probably did this for safety reasons but still.. frick.

I’m in Geismar off 74 near Bluff and I think we’re close to getting it back. 73 came back up an hour or so ago. It won’t be much longer.

Never lost power but did have a tree down across the fence from next door. It's all cut up and fence repaired. No need to bother the elderly lady next door.

I just got back from Morgan City, Houma, and Thibodaux,,,,doesn’t look like Car2 damage, not even Cat1

That doesn’t surprise me. I was told it was very specific neighborhoods that took on the most damage/water. Not widespread chaos

Thanks for that Tarps! I saw they have the hospital online right after I last posted.

Good news about the feeder. Im fed from the old plant/substation next to it as the main feeder. Hopefully they can get that operational quickly. I think that will bring a majority of Houma back online.

City of Houma's main feeder coming from Entergy is working. The city is hopeful to energize the main lines downtown to power the hospital and downtown government buildings as early as tonight.

I can report a section of downtown Houma just got power from the City of Houma.

And cable is working.

Yes, hospital is running and I'm assuming everyone fed from the Belanger substation (which is on hospital grounds)

Cox is out with no updates and our phones barely worked all day with AT&T. I need to dump both.

Do you have REV(Eatel) on Swamp Rd? Buried fiber lines mean they don’t go down. You just need a generator to power the router.

Verizon was shite the last 24 hours too so don’t switch to them.

I would never, ever wish a storm on anybody but when an OT hurricane thread is rolling it's really something.

Judging by the clock on the wall it looks like my power in Prairieville came back on between 4:30 - 5:00.
