A lot of purple hurricane force wind barbs at flight level it appears. That’s a different storm than the one they left a few hours ago.
tBoat pointed out it had its best chance to strengthen in the next 24 hours and it seems that’s happening - hopefully it’s still slow strengthening from here, if at all.
PS: I’m within 10 miles of the track along the coast, so if anyone wants it to fade, it’s me.

It’s gonna end up being east of New Orleans it will cross Barataria and go straight along the Coast to Mississippi
