The majority of the ensemble members from the GEFS & EPS turn this OTS. But it's a long ways out and thus the "early hot take' tag.

Threat has been raised. Models showing development below Hispaniola 7 days out.

Tropical tidbits models page not working this morning but I was able to pull this GFS.

Yes, the ensemble models had a strong signal for earlier development and a curve out into the Atlantic. However, some ensemble members are now showing delayed development, with some of those later developing members sneaking into the Gulf. It's still a ways out, so there is no real concern at this point.
