Frick the HWRF run
Slight nudge east but notably 6 hours earlier with landfall than the 12z was.
HMON was a bit further east than the 12z and a decent bit stronger, as mentioned earlier.

specifically put all of that extra work off until tomorrow
If you wait until the last minute, it only takes one minute.

I like how Bon Weir is one of the cities of significance on that last map

Would it be a bad idea to drive from BR to Houston early Wednesday morning? I’ll guess we’ll know more of the exact timing tomorrow

Last visible of the day shows a hot tower going up near the center

I'm not seeing that on the HWRF 18z. I see it that low but more like over Billy's Boudin. Baton Rouge would be more like 988mb according to what I'm seeing. Is tidbits glitching again? Could someone please post what you're talking about?
Then 976mb over the Felicianas.

If you like living in the wild side and think there’ll be no traffic, it shouldn’t be a problem. If you leave early in the morning

Like I couldn’t really tell where the storm was heading , but when I saw Bon Weir as a point of reference, everything clicked

Is a Morgan City hit where I should be worried about Nola?
