A two-bed, two bath apartment?! My god!!! I can hardly fathom such extravagance!!!
You don’t think an apartment that size can be very nice and expensive in a city? I’m confused how you’re missing that.

The issue here isn't the price of rent for the apartment
Nor is the issue how many bedrooms and how many bathrooms
And the issue isn't so much why the city of itself owns a "posh" apartment
The issue here is these people are PUBLIC SERVANTS
They are in place to enact your will and your agenda that you demonstrate to them through voting
Nothing more
Nothing less
Yet here is our mayor living much more lavishly and comfortably than many of her constituents, and she is utilizing her position as mayor to do this all by being funded by your hard earned tax dollars.
Yes we the people of New Orleans are footing the bill for her trips, her first class tickets, her room service, her meals, her apartments, all of that.
I won't even begin to mention how it looks even worse when thinking about how over the last several years her draconian efforts to suffocate the city with horrible covid restrictions cost many citizens their businesses, homes, well being, and livelihood while she lived on our dime.

Do NOLA residents realize that she’s leaving the state immediately with her millions imbezeled? Lester Earl is probably drafting an excuse for her on moving day.

Right? There are $50m 2 bedroom apartments in NYC.

Why did you ignore that the rent is $3,000 per month?
In some cities, that is pretty cheap.

I believe the French Market Corporation owns both the city and state's apartments.
