Hang them all from light poles right in front of their families houses and leave for a week , then the family members can take their bodies down and do as they please with their good lite boys and girl. I'm sure they all were such sweet kids. BLM my arse!

I would be in jail if I spoke my mind, then acted on it.

Agree with ticket sales. I'd be in.

Why don't all theses fast food outlets have security? Because profit is #1!!!
My daughter has quit a number of jobs that ran late into the night because of no security or back up. Even Harrah's Casino, getting off at 11:30 - 12:30 at night and having to walk 5 blocks to the lot where employees are allowed to park. No security there either.

May be true, but would like some additional verification
Easiest way to stop armed robert's at places like this is to not accept cash. Lack of cash really lowers the motivation of these stick - up animals

Any more info come out about the killer hating whitey, Or Women?
One article had her boyfriend, who also works at Canes, saying the killer did not like her because she was a symbol of authority. He said he did not seem to hate women or whitey, but hated all authority.
The hate crime talk is just sabre rattling, perpetuating an image of the system actually being tough on crime. It will go away soon.

The fact that two of them robbed a GameStop in 2014 and got PROBATION baffles me. At that rate they probably figure murder would only get them 6 months jail time. I hope all 5 never sniff freedom again

seriously doubt they all knew the guy was going to kill her, or even stab her.
Yes, that douche was probably just carrying the knife for self-defense like OJ did.
It's all irrelevant anyway. It's a murder in the commission of an armed robbery, which is a felony. That is a murder charge for all of them in the crew equally. They can make deals, but they will lall likely be charged with murder.

To be fair, in most places not within 20 miles of New Orleans (and especially outside the deep South) you don't have roaming packs or murderous animals looking to victimize someone.

I don't think that's how the law works.
correct. The stabber obviously gets the direct murder charge ++, and anyone else complicit in the robbery should also get felony-murder at least (death that occurs during commission of the felony robbery).
Eta: just saw ULSU's post. That.

obviously the whole reason of having the law enabling police to charge them all with murder1 is to get the non-killers roll on the 1 who did the killing and make an acquittal nearly impossible

An updated description from the advocate.
Every, a former Cane’s employee, bent over Friloux to stab her several more times, almost severing her left ear, cutting her liver, piercing the aorta near her heart and puncturing her windpipe, police allege.
This Every POS should be charged with murder 1 so the DA can pursue the death penalty.

fairly certain his charge is 1st degree murder simply b/c there was a death during the commission of another felony (armed robbery)
the brutal nature of the murder is just icing on the murder1 cake

Correct. The charges were upgraded to murder 1. Initially the killer was charged with murder 2.
The question still remains if the DA will pursue the death penalty. I'd be shocked if he doesn't.

I'd think he has to... we haven't gotten that PC have we?
ETA: you have a go for the death penalty b/c he supposedly went back while she was already incapacitated and finished her off after the robbery was done

What do they need to be charged with to have them skinned alive?
