Didn't realize 4x4 vehicles were capable of floating.

I did it for about 200 yards in my old Tacoma, so I can say that they do float (with the assistance of 8-55gal barrels)

When your lifted 2 wheel drive with mud tires starts spinning in the first soft spot you hit, give me a call, My Jeep will pull you out.

I'm not worried. I have a Subaru Outback.

I'm smart enough to stay at home today and drink.

This might be the most Cajun thing I've read on this board in a while.

If I get up to about 25-30 my tires will hydroplane like a wet stone on a smooth lake. The joys of a light weight vehicle.

I mean, not water tight where they should be, but surprisingly water tight in a river.

Just don't expect to have dry floors after a summer shower

Based on what I saw on the news, every idiot in Amite has a lifted truck and is determined to drive as fast as possible on the flooded streets.

"Duh...I thinked I seed a news came-e-ra!"

I've had a leak in the hard top since day 1 and the carpet pulled since day 2. The plugs are out of the floor so it drains on its own.

4X4 F2fiddy checking in. My truck nuts serve as a flotation device in the event of emergencies, I have natty in the Yeti 110 ice chest and Luke Bryan blasting some killer tunes. Since it's cloudy I'll finally get to use my double roof mounted LED light bars. Here to assist.

The river came up faster than I thought and kept on coming up. I had it parked on the only high ground around. After two days, a plan was put into action
