no idea, from what i saw when they picked it up it wasn't decayed or anything, there were no flies around, but the kittens were still alive

and i would put out wet and dry kitten food during the day (because raccoon and others would eat the food at night) and water out all the time

Glad they are gone, hopefully they are where they will be cared for. LSU Professor put home up for sale 2 years ago and left his cats, one of which was pregnant. I am still feeding two at my front door. The professor needs to be put on an island alone with no food for a long tome! He is house hasn't sold in over 2 years. Ain't Karma a biotch!
