re: Fossils in Greece Suggest Human Ancestors Evolved in Europe, Not Africa

don't think this is accurate. Evolution really doesn't have anything to do with "attraction", to my knowledge
Not attraction in the romantic sense, but attraction in the survival sense. Are female big horn sheep really attracted to the male with the largest horns and thickest bodies because he’s a good frick? No, but his genes increase the likelihood of survival of her offspring.

It certainly does, it is the reason for peacock's tail feathers displays and such.
In modern humans we have surpassed the need/demands of basic survival, so attractiveness is a better indicator of reproductive success than things like who can hunt down prey better

Tell that to all the rich, ugly guys.

I place a lot of blame on this picture:
Maybe because that "picture" is basically THE icon and trademark of the very same "Evolution" agenda/indoctrination taught in Public Schools, colleges AND "science" books for the past 80 years?
quote:
Some people see that and think it implies a straight line between ape and man.
Uh, NO.
We see a Wish-Casting fantasy depiction and note that there are exactly ZERO examples of ANY of that photo being the least bit true (other than the Chimp and the Human).
All the other depictions are pure imagination and theory (as are ANY intermediate fossils, bones, etc).
The "Science" with respect in particular to "Evolutionary Man" has been engaging in fraud for 150 years. "Piltdown Man" and "Lucy" etal -- ALL proven Hoaxes.
quote:
When in reality, it looks more like a tree, with twigs sharing branches, which themselves share branches and so on:
Once again we note artwork that is nothin but Wish-Casting. Evolution is not in any way backed up by any evidence, proof, Science, legit samples of skeletons.
DNA can NOT alter itself...
Not even with a Timeline of a Gazillion Years.

Id imagine an attractive middle class guy would have more reproductive success than a rich guy with multiple noses or 4 ears like the poster brought up.

Ummmm yes it can.

There are mutations.
Also, cancer is a result of altered DNA.

I would bring up the Fused Chromosome but I think that is hopeless for him to understand or explain

Your DNA is extremely similar to your parents' DNA... but different.
Your DNA is unfortunately extremely similar to mine... but more different than it is to your parents'.
Your DNA is very similar to a chimp's... but more different than it is to mine (maybe).
Your DNA is pretty similar to a dog's... but more different than it is to a chimp's.
Surely you agree that your DNA is most similar to your parents' because they passed it along to you, right? Where is the disconnect for you that the family tree extends back and connects every living thing?

You are wasting your time with reason.
He believes there is a dome over the earth, that it is flat, and that we couldn't transport bricks by boat in the 19th century, and that Star Forts might be alien portals.

Yes. But mutations = DNA devolution.
So according to the theory "Evolution", "altered DNA" actually helps EVOLVE and IMPROVE an organism stronger and higher up the Evo-ladder?

devolution.
There is no such thing

Also, a total misunderstanding of Evolution

What part of "DNA can not alter itself" did you not understand?
Tell me -- how can DNA self-replicate and be altered without external forces?

Can't explain the question?
Predictable.

The question doesn't make any sense. It has no bearing on even the slightest understanding of basic Evolutionary science.
Its complete nonsense.

What part of "DNA can not alter itself" did you not understand?
quote:There are many external forces that alter DNA. It can also be altered randomly during replication. And a whole new DNA sequence is created during reproduction.

What, exactly, is your question?
