Right. I highly doubt she just decided to murder the man who lived on the floor above her. It was a tragic mistake. Should be something more like negligent homicide.
Unless there is more to the story, then she should be charged with negligent homicide and serve a
We can’t start taking ooopps as an alibi. If she was inducted for murder there is a reason.

The parents have been super dram about it all with them.
Yeah, how dare the parents get all dramatic when someone murders their son when he’s minding his own fricking business in his apartment!

Go frick yourself, you fricking lunatic. You only care about a person if they’re loyal to President Pussygrabber.

Never ended up at the wrong house, barracks/dorm or floor when I worked shift work.
To be fair, after a long day of work and me being oblivious, I have parked on the wrong floor of the parking garage, but of course when I walk into the complex itself from that floor, I immediately realize I’m on the wrong floor. This woman is a fricking idiot.

Ever live in a place that every floor looks exactly the same? Cause thats how big apt complexes look like today. They have interviewed residents that have said they have mistakenly gone to the wrong door/floor. So they will be key for the defense to push the "Mistake of Fact" law.
It’s one thing to go on the wrong floor and another to go through the wrong door. As soon as she stepped foot in the complex itself, she should have realized something was off. I have no sympathy for this stupid count whatsoever.

You really need to learn the legal definition of what murder is. If you knew that, you'd change your mind. Its Negligent Homicide nothing more.
I love when dumb fricks just take their own ignorance with great pride.

Man, you are a special type of stupid. For the love of humanity, please don’t breed.

My feeling is that she murdered him and that she had the entire thing planned to give her an out. The fact that the defense of “everything looks the same on each floor, etc” is her defense and has muddied the waters is exactly what she wanted. I think she mis calculated the aftermath though. I feel that she thought an investigation would ensue and that her story would be accepted and there would be no type of charges brought and put before a grand jury. She had created a situation where she could kill him and still get off.
I mean seriously, if the door is ajar (no clue if it really was or not) wouldn't you really start to question.. hmm.. is this my apartment.. wtf.. then pay more attention to detail..
even in the dark, i'm not sure how dark but with opening the door there should be lighting.. how do you not notice it's not your apartment. surely it has a different feel.. surely it smells different.. something has to be placed differently.. wouldn't you kind of step back or immediately turn some lights on? idk, i guess not?? i mean i know my table pretty well and what to expect. surely there are lights nearby to turn on and immediate know you entered the WRONG FREAKING PLACE.. and even if you accidentally come across someone inside.. you would have to know it's your bad.. and apologize.
again though, i haven't read all the details.. but this is just so absurd.. especially for someone who is a cop.. details should come easy to them..
I mean you know it's an apartment.. This isn't like you are at a house.. Once recognizing the door is ajar.. wouldn't you step back for a moment and try to figure out wth is going on? The only way I could imagine proceeding inside immediately is if I had family living with me.. or maybe a pet..
Did she live alone??
If I got to my apartment where I lived alone and the door was ajar, I like to think I would step back and try to make sure I'm at the right door.. I'd also knock as I entered and start asking who was in there.. but there's no reason to rush this situation at an apartment IMO.. Kick the door wide open and turn some lights on.
I just don't get why she felt the need to shoot a guy..
