A 2014 XLT with 80,000 miles goes for $18k and a 2019 XLT with 25,000 miles goes for $22k. Who in the hell is out there buying the former?

I haven't seen a 2019 with 25k going that cheap. Are you talking about a regular cab?

Isn’t the F150 the most purchased vehicle in the history of auto?

Crew Cab. I’ve been doing nationwide searches on auto trader to monitor prices. There were several at this dealer called Al Hendrickson in Florida a few weeks ago but they’re gone now.

But there are several now with under 35k miles under $23k.

Company I work for leases trucks. We currently have about 50 of them. We use to get I believe 3 year lease but now I think it is 5 year. We lease Ford trucks currently.

I mean it depends on the owner. If you do no preventive maintenance and change the oil about every 25,000 miles and never do anything else, then yeah. I guess it will break down eventually. I do know guys like that. And then they end up with shitty engines and want to blame the manufacturer.

Nooo, it's not Ford. It's that you dog the shite out of your truck.

The 2019/20 GM truck body is fricking atrocious to look at. They ruined a very good looking truck for something that looks ridiculous.

Agreed. Every once in a while I'll see a loaded GMC that I like but the run of the mill 35-40k models are ugly imo.
