Knew a guy who worked for a used car dealership that would finance almost anyone with a paycheck to show they had a job. When they sold a car, they would install a GPS tracker in a hidden place. They kept one set of keys to it and if the person got two payments behind the dealer would send out a guy at night and take the car back. They had a fenced in place on the lot and would park it there, usually behind some clunker cars. When the customer got even on their payments, they got their car back.

One mother called begging for her son's car back. When she was told "No". she asked if they could come and get his rims back, claiming e had paid more for the rims and tires than he had paid for the car. They just told her, "Then I am sure he will get slick with us on the payments."

These guys sold a lot of cars, and their payment assurance program worked better than most. There were words in the sales contract to cover what they did, just never any mention of the GPS trackers.

So you’re in favor of responsible people just eating it while others don’t pay bills?

Your argument is bs. So you're saying the majority of people that buy a new car default on the note? They default on a note to Ford, or is it to a lender separate from Ford? How about make this an add on as a service for a lender, for which the lender should pay extra to have, or as a way to give someone with a shitty credit score/history a better rate. If they want to sell me a vehicle, it won't have anything like this in it.
