Nope. Sorry. I've run against it too. Now the tundra does pull harder I'll say that

I drive a ram with a 5.7 and will outrun and out pull that ecoboost every time.

Um, no, no it won't. But have fun with your gas guzzling shitty Ram. Dodge couldn't pay me to drive their garbage.

Then you are racing against some amateurs who don't know how to race

And that's ok but let's see how long your eco boost lasts you

That may very well be the case, as I said earlier. But I'm giving you my honest experience.

I believe you because very few people know how to race. My brother-in-law accused me of cheating when I raced him because I was revving my engine before we left wow. All I simply was doing was bringing the RPMs up to about 2800 and power breaking it

I'm very interested in the 2.7 with the 10 speed. I travel a lot for work and need the gas mileage but also need to tow on the weekend. I'm glad to see some good reviews of the 2.7 in here.

My company runs 12 2.7 eco boost tow a 3,000 lb 6x12 8 foot high trailer and I don’t notice it. Towed one from hotlanta, Georgia to Texas no issues. I even towed the trailer to Iowa and California on separate trips. Only issue with the 2.7 is I do no trust a turbo charged engine. I trade these in every two years under corporate lease and so far no real issues except all the 2017’s had the brake master cylinder go out around 10k to 20k Miles.
Love the gas mileage and on a large tank my employees can go 800 miles easily everyday driving. Gas mileage avg 20 in the city to 23 hwy.

Now my personal 2017 F150 4x4 truck is the 5.0L v8. I did get the larger fuel tank. Yes, it tows alittle better not much. Gas mileage is horriable 17 to 19.

Who really gives a shite about racing a full size truck? That seems more retarded than truck nuts.

It'll well outlast your penny-pinched Hemi. Seriously, your engine is one of the cheapest built engines in the entire Chrysler portfolio. Only a few hundred dollar option over the boat anchor V6 when they came out. They used cast toner rings that would crack when baws like you put too much faith into those early Hemi Ram commercials...
