Why exactly shouldn’t gay and lesbian people be treated normally? Because you think it’s icky and don’t like what they do in their bedroom? Grow up. Go actually meet and talk to them.

I’ve got news for you: Frozen had lesbians
the bible's got lezzies, cob nibblers, arse pirates, father-son incest, weiny waggers, sex predators, bigamists, orgies, hookers, sluts, etc., and people all over the world deliberately bus their kids in to hear all about it. They even make coloring books of that shite to help the kids learn about how Noah didn't object to his son giving him a helmet wash, yet the poor bastard Hamm, who got nothing in return for all his hard work, was the only one who got punished.

Then, the same people who truck their kids in by the hundreds for all the perverted bible crap completely flip their shite because a bunch of drawings on the TV screen are sexually ambiguous.

Oh so now you think I have a problem with LGBT people. In college I rented out a room from a lesbian couple. I’ve interacted with LGBT people more times than I can remember and have no issues holding conversations with them. Your line of thought is expected though. Someone shares their stance/opinion on something controversial and you think I’m the issue.

Where is the line in the sand for you?

If your kid recognizes Elsa is lesbian, then it us already normalized.

I'm pretty confident she'll have no clue, but you'll be upset regardless.

You do realize 3-4 year olds is not the only audience here.

I hope this film does have lesbians. The melt from the religious right will be delicious.

The behavior isn’t normal. It is acknowledged and accepted though

I disagree, but that's fine.

I believe your kid either recognizes it because he/she already knows about this stuff, so it's no biggie, or they don't recognize it and it's no biggie.

Rightfully so. You can downplay the little nuances that you don’t think kids pick up on if you want though. First it’s subtle and then when they eventually come out with a princess finding love with another princess you’ll still be calling me weird.

Exactly.

People were flustered by The Princess and the Frog because it was the first black princess. In short, people are ridiculous.

I do think that its funny that people are criticizing people for not wanting to expose their children/celebrate a lifestyle that has drastically higher rates of HIV, anal cancer, syphillis etc. I know many LGBT people and they are fantastic human beings so dont misunderstand me as hating those people. Its truly the opposite.

Yes it may be strange to say in today's world but there is a right and wrong. Am I saying that its any worse than heterosexual promiscuity-NO! Absolutely not. I dont think it needs to be shoehorned into a kids movie anymore than I want promiscuity in there. Yes they may find out somewhere else but I dont have to invite that into my home. Just like I dont have to invite violent movies into my home with young children. However people ridiculing people for being sensitive about it and are perfectly ok with however their children wants to swing given the rates of dangerous disease is just as foreign to me as I may seem to them. Sure my kid may not get burned if they touch a stove top thats off but I dont let them them touch every stove because eventually they get burned.

I know more lesbians than I do interracial couples, for example. I think both are normal, even if the majority of folks don't fall into either category.

I fully believe you're not giving Disney enough credit. I'd be genuinely surprised if there was any physical lesbian actions in the movie.

If your concern is solely STD based than I would think you would find lesbian relationships to be an attractive alternative.
