My dad's car insurance dropped big time when I relocated him to AZ. He's paying like 50-60 bucks a month for full coverage vs the $120-130 he was paying in LA

The fact that someone his age was paying that much for car insurance is on him and has nothing to do with rates in Louisiana. I know 20 somethings that don't pay that much a month in Louisiana

Did they have full coverage? Full glass coverage? Rental car coverage? $250 deductible?

Its because of so many uninsured democratic voters.

Yes, and yes. Deductible is 500

Either way, he was paying too much and no doubt could have found better rates

Our insurance policy has gone up $317 since last year

Mine was looking to do that as well. Decided to price around and ended up paying substantially less than before.

Who is your insurer? A couple of majors took significant hits this past year due to the floods and have increased rates accordingly. I do not buy the more accidents line as to why it went up.

All of my friends from out of state find it unbelievable that my car insurance is $250 a month. State farm just went up $50 a month on mine just because.

They're all rich and pay $70 a month while I'm poor spending most of my money on gd insurance.

Life is rough.

Insurance isn't even required here in SC if you pay a $550 yearly fee.
