There are tons of videos from that night, many with Kyle in them. At no point in any of the videos is he aggressive with anyone or use his rifle to intimidate others. Yet the media portrayed him as this dickhead who went there to shoot people if they tried to damage local businesses.

That sounds like a part I was able to catch. I'm not sure who he was questioning. But the prosecution had another WTF line of questions.

Prosecutor: "Did you ever know someone who rode a skateboard?"
Witness: Confused look???
Defense and judge stopped that shite. How would knowing someone who rode a skateboard make him qualified to answer skateboard questions?
Even if the guy was some kind of skateboard expert, what answers could he provide to help the prosecution's case. Luckily that crap was dropped and never mentioned again. Those two prosecutors are fricking NUTS.

Soldiers don’t have the same autonomy, they have orders. Unfortunately our leaders often send them places that don’t belong.
Rittenhouse didn’t have to be there, i can’t feel too bad for you if you choose to run around riot with a gun and something happens. Nothing illogical about it.
If I am in the ghetto at 2am and get robbed, it’s not my fault I got robbed but I shouldn’t have been in the ghetto at 2am.

The soldiers chose to give up their autonomy and subject themselves to the orders of others, and they were fully aware of that possibility when they signed up for it.

Rittenhouse put himself in a dangerous position. he is lucky people filmed it and he will likely get off. He should have never been charged with the video evidence. I still think he had no business there. Life is too short to go prison or get yourself shot over nothing
