For the past month I've been getting spam calls from New Jersey

Have never answered, they never leave a voicemail, and the only thing consistent is the first 6 numbers. (201)-215-XXXX. Different last 4 digits everytime. I've googled this and lots of reports of insurance sales that ignore the DNC List. I get 2-3 a day. Is there anything that can be done to stop them? Is it possible to block an area code?

I received a phone call from Russia yesterday.
Russia.
Never thought that would happen. But then I checked my Ashley Madison account and realized why.

I started getting them from pretty much the same number you posted, maybe four yesterday, and three today. I blocked the numbers, and haven't had anymore calls.

Look......do what I do and I promise you wont get return calls.
I answer, click "1" so I can "accept the offer and speak to a rep". When they answer, ask them if you can frick them in the arse and jizz on their face. They will recoil in shock and think they misheard. Repeat. Then tell them you were promised arse fricking and you are gonna get it. They hang up and I'm never called again. Now, if you get the dotheads, they will start cursing back with you. That is fun. They get creative with things they want to do to your mom, wife, etc.

Answering every soliciting call is the exact opposite of what you should do

I pretty much don’t answer any call whose number I don’t have saved. If it’s important they leave a message and I call back.

I've been getting them for months now and if I don't have that number in my phone book to show who's calling, I simply don't answer.
If it's someone I know, or some business that needs to get in touch with me, they will leave a voice mail. Funny how 90+% of the unknown calls I get never leave a voice mail.

Same here, except just the past week or so. And it's about 2-3 a day as well.
