The past few days: “everything you enjoy is cancelled because we are worried people might get sick. Deal with it, stop complaining”

Look I 100% understand canceling/postponing stuff that makes sense.

- Postpone the NBA, MLB, NHL, etc. until they can test all the players, clean the stadiums, and see where the virus goes? Sure makes sense

- Cancel March Madness bc it is happening in the next few weeks? Sure

- Cancel ALL NCAA spring sports that have months left on their season? Extreme and really sucks for the players who’ve worked their whole lives to get there, especially in the less popular sports

- Cancel an outdoor golf tournament that you can easily play without fans and really not impact it much? Way extreme.

I’m all for common sense measures, but jumping to these extremes is absurd, people still have to live life

I mean they played yesterday so presumably they’re already here?

I was reference PGA events going forward over the next month, but you made a good point- if you are a European on the PGA tour, would you go home or stay in the US.

Does anyone really even care about basketball?

Find something else to bet on.
