You clearly bet a lot, and IMO, your bringing your kids in to your gambling world is irresponsible. I know it may seem very innocent to "let your kid" pick, but it's almost the same as handing your child that first cigarette

It’s basically impossible to consistently stay up when you can’t win more then 100% of what you bet. That’s the kicker that keeps the money in the casiono’s/ bookies pockets. If every slap dick could do it a lore more guys would.

Point is, has anyone had sustained success betting sports often/for any extended period of time?
No.
My boss in highschool ran books, you should have seen the poor fools that were caught in the cycle.
I made a killing one season. Got to the playoff season and I got bold. Lost it all and never played again.
I have plenty of friends that still play daily. They win some but lose more than some.

I learned a few things from my gambling days:
-those buildings do not build themselves. IE the house wins over time.
-be willing to not bet until you see something you really like.
-LSU this year was an anomaly. However, there are teams to ride if you pay attention. EX: i bet against Duke every week and killed those bets. Was probably 15 years ago ish.
-the most profitable football seasons i had were beating small conferences. The line makers know the guys on TV better than the coaches know their own teams. Learn some obscure conference better than the bookies, and win away. However, this is not done overnight.
And yes, i got to the point where i was making bets i could not cover if i lost all of them. Stopped being fun, and i have not made a bet since i hammered LSU over Oklahoma in the championship game.

You already know the answer but will ignore it and keep betting.
