So I learned something useful today to eliminate an annoyance with one of FB's newer features:
In case your friends list is littered with people who believe they'll receive a free RV when they see a post that says something like "Comment below and tag @highlight to receive a free RV!!!"
Go to your Settings / Notifications / Tags - Under "Receive Notifications For" turn off Batch Mentions.

The only reason to use Facebook nowadays is for Marketplace.

While we are on this topic, does anyone else have the problem where in app sounds keep coming back on? It's driving me nuts. I got to settings/media/in app sounds and it comes back on a few hours later.
